Luna needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Adoption Pending! Little Luna has just recently turned one year old. This girl loves to swim at the lake! A cabin spot or lake home would be her dream! She is a happy girl who is most confident with another canine. Little Luna was not socialized well in her previous home as she did not exposed to much other then her small world, which had made her fearful of new people, both adults and children who came to her home, thus the reason she was surrendered to UDR. Her previous family admittedly had no dog experience prior to getting Luna, nor took her to any training. Considering, Luna is very well behaved, knows some basic commands and is friendly, happy and very playful. She was fearful of all the dogs at doggy daycare initially, it took about 15 minutes for her to begin interacting and wanting them to play with her. We feel a home with dog experience and another canine living in the home that she can learn from would benefit Luna greatly. Doggy daycare has proved to be so beneficial for her in just a matter of one day! She is interacting appropriately and happily with staff members and other canines, which she was initially fearful. Luna will need a fenced yard! She is a diamond in the rough who needs a loving patient home willing to help her be a more confident pup and show her the world is not that scary. Luna is spayed, current on vaccines and ready to find her happy ever after!
