Adoption Pending! Cole is a 1-2 year old, black male, sporting the European, all natural, good looks of a purebred Doberman. Through no fault of his own, sadly Cole is the typical "black dog" Doberman that is often times overlooked because he is not cropped and docked as some expect of the breed. For people who love this breed it is important to note this is the direction the breed is going, all natural, due to anti-cropping, docking legislation. An all natural Doberman still has all the wonderful qualities and temperament of the docked, cropped Doberman! Don't overlook Cole because of his natural tail or ears. He is a purebred Doberman! Cole was removed from an apartment by animal control, since dogs where not allowed in the building. Hardly a life for an energetic Doberman, apartment living is not for a large active breed! Cole is a bigger boy but such a snuggle pup who loves to cuddle with his foster mom. He does well with most other dogs, but does like to play hard, so a low keyed, older dog would not be impressed by his active play style! Cole has attended doggy daycare and loves to go to dog parks with his foster mom. He would love to find a home with a very active female dog of his size to wrestle and amuse! Cole loves to go for walks, is house and crate trained, and a great car rider. Cole would prefer a home with a fenced yard as he does have a little bit of a the Doberman "hunter" in him. Cole is neutered, up to date on vaccines, micr-chipped, heart worm free, and on heart worm and flea preventative. He is a great boy who loves his people and will be a wonderful forever companion! C'mon, take a chance of a lifetime and adopt.....we know you will fall in love with Cole!
