Adoption Pending! Willow is a 6 year old female, docked, cropped, spayed fawn Doberman. Willow has the gentle soul of an angel, who loves and worships everyone and everything she meets. This girl is cat, kid and dog friendly and just wants to have a soft place to sleep and be loved. Willow would not hurt a living soul she is so gentle. Willow was scheduled to be euthanized, as someone incorrectly deemed her unwanted and un-adoptable due to her age. United Doberman Rescue could not let this girl be put down as she truly is a gem who is deserving of life, truly one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. We believe she needed a chance to live a happy life and will give whom ever adopts her true love and companionship. Willow was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism and is now on a low cost thyroid medication, plus glucosamine for her joints. She needs to loose about 20 pounds to look and feel healthy again. Willow is spayed, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, on heart worm, flea and tick preventative and is ready to find her forever happy ending. Please help us help pay for Willow TPLO surgery through the Go-Fund Me page, or donate at https://www.gofundme.com/willows-broken-knees Special Needs Dobermans http://www.doberman911.org/gfcases.html who have committed to help us pay for a portion of Willow's surgical bill! Read more from her pages: Willow is a wonderful 6 year old girl that has made her way to the caring hands of United Doberman Rescue. She has 2 (YES, TWO!!) torn ACL's and requires TPLO surgery on both. I can’t even tell you how long she has badly needed this surgery as we wouldn’t even know about her except for one lucky event, no one wanted her anymore. Willow and a companion were surrendered to a shelter to be executed. The shelter promptly called the United Doberman Rescue who immediately stepped up to help this sweet girl.
Willow needs our help before she can think of finding her forever home. She is such a sweet and loving dog, she lets the little puppy fosters crawl all over her and treats them just like their momma would. She is perfect in every way—except for her knees! The prognosis is great for a of full recovery and a happy life, doing both knees at once. Right now, she is on amazing, but expensive, Galliprant for pain while we fundraise for her oh-so costly surgery.
