Foster mom and pop update!!! 11/10/2023-"Rocky probably needs a bit of basic training,  while he does some counter surfing he is doing really well. Once in awhile he jumps up onto furniture and up on people to greet them, so we are working on "off" command. He's happy and affectionate with all people. He gets along great with our dogs. He comes when called and is easy to get back into the house after potty time. He sleeps through the night. He's had zero accidents in the house. He knows the command "kennel" for his crate, sound asleeping in the kennel whenever we get home... no barking that we've noticed. He is super smart, knows 'sit", "down", ...and I think he knows "spin" (or at least follows your hand and is learning spin).

Doberman Puppy - Rocky is an adorable 8 month old Doberman puppy who is eagerly looking for his forever home. This playful and loving pup has a unique personality that is sure to bring joy to any family. Here's some important information about Rocky that will help you get to know him better:

Rocky is a champion sleeper. He has learned to settle down at night and sleeps peacefully through the night. You can expect undisturbed rest knowing that Rocky is a sound sleeper. Rocky is part of a litter of four, including his brothers Creed, Max, and Niko, all adopted. Rocky has a playful side and absolutely adores toys. From squeaky toys to tug-of-war ropes, he enjoys having a variety of toys to keep him entertained. Be prepared for some energetic playtime sessions with this lively pup! If you loves road trips or enjoys taking your furry companion on outings, Rocky is the perfect travel buddy. He is accustomed to car rides and behaves well during journeys, making him a pleasure to have along for the ride. Fenced yard a must to keep him safe. He will flourish in an environment where he can receive plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection.

Rocky is eagerly awaiting a family that will embrace his energetic spirit and provide him with the love and care he deserves. Doberman experienced preferred as Rocky is a smart guy! All potential adopters must fill out  the adoption application. Please read our adoption policies page in its entirety before filling out application-failure to do so may delay the adoption process. Please answer all questions on the application, failure to do so may result in your application being denied. We do not adopt on a first come first serve basis but what is the best fit for our dogs.  We do give preference to homes with fenced yards. Puppies must live in homes with fenced yards. Those with no fencing must have a plan in place for daily activity and bathroom breaks for adult dogs. With the exception of Meet and Greets, y ou will not be able to meet our adoptable animals until the adoption application is submitted online and the home visit is completed. We will not place adult rescue dogs in homes with young children under 6 years old, with the exception of puppies 6 months and under, we will adopt to families with children under 6 years old, but a fenced yard is mandatory. Our dogs must live indoors with their humans and never left outdoors alone or in a kennel or yard unattended. You must be willing to use a crate and sign up for formal obedience classes. You must be 21 and own your home. We will not adopt outside of the USA. We will not ship our dogs. We will not adopt to anyone charged or convicted of animal abuse, child abuse, any type of felony.
