Basil is Viszla mix around 6 months old who is a sweet, fun, cuddly and handsome pup who gets along well with his foster sister and other dogs at doggy daycare. Basil will listen to you intently turning his head from left to right just to get every word you say! So cute! His favorite activities are playing with his foster sister, going on walks and to dog parks, and cuddling with his foster mom. Basil is a scaredy cat of the resident feline so a home with cats would be appropriate for Basil. He is sweet and polite when meeting new people. He is eager to please his human and is super food-motivated, so responds well to training. In just a few weeks with his foster mom, he's learned/successfully mastered, crate and house training! Super smart boy, Basil quickly learned the following commands: sit, down, off, come, let's go outside, and go pee (yes, he now pees on command!). He's also learning to ring a bell to tell his foster mom know when he needs to go outside to go potty. Basil rarely barks so would be appropriate for a condo or single-family home but he plays very loud and vocal with his fur-foster sister. He is a bit of a ham for sure. Basil would be a fun and cuddly companion is his new forever home, giving his people lots of entertainment with his goofy antics and a great play buddy to another canine. Basil is nuetered, vaccinated, chipped and ready to "come home." Please apply on our website if interested in this sweet little guy!
