Ball anyone?? 3 year old Apollo is one handsome guy! Apollo is a Doberman X Belgian Malinois, 50/50 mix. He was adopted from our rescue as a puppy and recently returned due to divorce. Apollo will need an owner who is experienced with the protective guardian breeds as he tends to be very suspicious and cautious of new people until he gets to know you, but he is very loyal to his person/people/pack and will be by your side 24/7 and watch over you. Because of this, a home with children coming and going would not be a good choice for Apollo. Apollo loves playing with other dogs, is great with big and small dogs, and has take in some doggy daycare. He would love to spend all his days at the dog parks! His favorite sport is ball, any size ball will do, and he is the most fantastic catcher, retriever ever! Apollo lived with another female dog in his home. The mixture of his breed Dobe x Malinois, makes him a very highly intelligent (possibly even more intelligent then a Doberman!) dog. Because of this he will need a home that keeps him active, stimulated and secure. The Belgian Malinois is a breed often used as police dogs due to their loyalty, smarts and willing to learn, plus they will do just about anything for their humans. Please read up on both breeds if you are considering adopting a strong minded dogs such as Apollo. Apollo is neutered and current on his vaccines.
