Lincoln, or "Mr. Handsome", is a one year old docked, cropped purebred Doberman. He was surrendered to UDR because the family was in crisis with some significant personal family losses and could not care for him as they were trying to care for other family members. Lincoln was home alone alot recently due to these issues and crated for the majority of time. They knew this was not fair to Lincoln and made the choice to help him find a home more suitable for a Doberman with high energy and daily needs. Lincoln is neutered, fully vetted, micro-chipped, crate and house trained. He is your typical male Doberman with tons of energy. If you prefer to sit on the couch after work, Lincoln is not a dog for you, he needs daily energy release as he is a very high energy dog. Lincoln would benefit from obedience classes and a very attentive owner. He gets along well with other female canines. Unsure about cats and small animals. If interested in committing to at least 10 years or more to Lincoln, have the ability to let him run and play, go for walks or runs, and will train him to be the best dog ever, please apply! Lincoln would love a fenced yard.
