Viggo here! I am an 8 year old senior boy who is looking for a new home. I so loved my master and she tried really hard to do the best ever for me, but it was time. Yes, she took the best care of me, fed me, vetted me, and I loved her so and she loved me. She was really, really sick with something you humans call cancer. I could see how it was getting harder and harder for her every day to do simple stuff for both of us. UDR promised both my mom and me that I would find another home that would love me just as much as my mom loved me. More about me....I am a senior boy but can still run like the wind in short burst! I do like to go for walks and might even play ball for a couple throws. I am a bit of a Grumpy Grandpa with a sweet center! That's what my foster mom says anyways. With my first mom, I was in charge of caring for moms safety in my previous life as it was just us and the two little dogs that were my friends, so made sure I alerted her to new people, dogs, or anything that might be of concern. I feel this is my job and will do this in my next forever home to help you out. Oh yes, the littles.... I did live with small yippy, yappy dogs and we co-habitated well. In my foster home I have greeted the farm cats and rabbit with nothing but a passing glance, although I did bark at the geese but decided they were no threat and went on my way exploring. I am currently being fostered with a young whipper-snapper Doberman teenage boy, and trying to teach him the ways of being a good Doberman. It's been tough but he is a quick learner. I am a great car rider and leaner. I have been trained to carry a back pack as mom always needed an extra hand and i was it! She would just say" BRACE VIGGO" and I knew it was time to put my backpack on and help her with something important. She would fill it with supplies and what ever stuff she needed a hand with and I would get it to the place she needed it. Sometimes we would just go for a nice walk. I was her helper for sure! Speaking of hands......... If you have an extra hand to pet me that would be my heaven. I am fully vetted, but do take a low cost daily thyroid meds for hypothyroidism. If you are interested in a low energy, senior, been there done that Doberman, we might be a good fit! I am crate trained, house broke, neutered, current on vaccines, micro-chipped and ready to come home to you.
